CSS Grabber — Terms & Privacy

Effective: February 18, 2026 · cssgrabber.com

This page explains how CSS Grabber works, what we do with your data, and the conditions under which you may use the service. If you use CSS Grabber, you agree to these terms.

Terms of Service

1. What CSS Grabber does

CSS Grabber is a free web tool. You submit a URL; our server fetches that page and its linked CSS and assets, extracts typography, colors, and logo information, and returns a report. Processing happens on our servers, not in your browser.

2. Acceptable use

You may use CSS Grabber for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial. You must not use it to:

  • Access any website or system you are not authorized to access
  • Circumvent bot protection, rate limiting, or access controls on third-party sites
  • Violate the terms of service of any website you analyze
  • Reproduce or redistribute third-party logos, fonts, or brand assets without the rights to do so
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the CSS Grabber service

3. Your responsibility for third-party sites

When you submit a URL, you are instructing our server to fetch that page on your behalf. You are solely responsible for ensuring that doing so complies with that site's terms of service and applicable law. CSS Grabber does not review submitted URLs and accepts no liability for how you use the results.

4. Intellectual property in reports

Reports may contain fonts, colors, and logos that belong to third parties. CSS Grabber does not grant you any license to use that third-party material. How you use extracted assets is your responsibility.

5. No guarantees

CSS Grabber is provided as-is. We make no warranties about accuracy, uptime, or fitness for any particular purpose. Sites with bot protection may return incomplete or blocked results. We reserve the right to change or discontinue the service at any time.

6. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CSS Grabber is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. If you have a claim against us, our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past twelve months or USD $100.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.

Privacy Policy

9. How CSS Grabber processes your request

When you submit a URL, here is exactly what happens:

  • Your URL is sent to our server over HTTPS
  • Our server fetches the target page and its linked CSS and assets
  • A report is generated in memory and returned to you
  • The submitted URL and generated report are discarded immediately — we do not write them to a database or store them after your request completes

10. What we log

Our servers produce standard access logs. These contain your IP address, the timestamp of your request, and the HTTP response code. They do not contain the URL you submitted for analysis. We retain these logs for a limited period for security and operational purposes only.

11. Third-party infrastructure

CSS Grabber runs on cloud hosting infrastructure. As a byproduct of serving your request, our hosting provider may receive standard request metadata including your IP address, request size, and timestamp. We do not control what our hosting provider logs — please refer to their privacy policy for details.

We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or behavioral analytics tools.

12. Cookies

CSS Grabber does not use tracking or advertising cookies. We may use a minimal session cookie if required for the web application to function. We do not use cookies to identify or track you across sessions or sites.

13. Data we do not collect

To be explicit:

  • We do not store the URLs you submit
  • We do not store the reports we generate
  • We do not store the content of any website you analyze
  • We do not build profiles of users or their activity
  • We do not sell data to third parties

14. Children

CSS Grabber is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
